Consider Rodgers' production pre- and post-injury:

Before the injury, he was 14-of-19 for 298 yards and a touchdown for a passer rating of 133.1.

After the injury, he was 14-of-20 for 120 yards with two interceptions for a 45.8 passer rating.

So....MM says AR is ok....which means it's a career ending injury.

Could have been an entirely different ball game if Rodgers didn't get hurt. The Packers would have still probably lost, but it would have been much closer, imo. Like it or not, this team runs through Aaron Rodgers. No other player or entire unit is going to carry this team.

I said it in the game thread so I'll just repeat it here...it would have been nice if more than just Lacy pushed through the adversity of Rodgers injury. I get the offensive line is average and became even below average once Lang left but at that point in the game, when your quarterback straps the helmet up and you know he is injured...its time to go into overdrive and bust your ass to protect him or open holes for Lacy. WR/TEs also failed him with the mental lapses and drops.

Well, this team is like that. But then they shit themselves 20% of the time and try to pull something out of their ass to bullshit their way through the 10% that they need to get up to snuff.

Take this recent Saints game for example. If we would have put the Saints away early, for example by getting another TD isntead of FGs or forcing a punt, BAM! The pass to Peppers. The screens to Lacy instead of Harris. The onside kick. Aaron can get injured and we still win.

But that's not how McCarthy rolls.

Far as I'm concerned this is a 4-4 team, because they did not play well enough to beat the Dolphins. They shit themselves beyond 20%, then got lucky at the end using bullshit. Is .500 really good enough for this team? I do not think so.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
