Great listen, thanks LT.
Interesting to see him talk about 2006, how hard it was to get Woodson and how they missed out on Arrington despite offering him more than the Giants.
Brandt's line about Woodson responding "Why would I want to come there (Green Bay)" when initially contacted was very telling, IMO, of the reluctance people have of going to such a small market team. Might be something to keep an eye on this year, also.
Also brutally honest when he said the Eagles game last year should not have been won by the Packers, who were clearly out played by the Eagles. Brutal honesty.
Loved hearing Brandt's take on this team, namely that it's got a bunch of rising stars and is in good position heading into the future player personnel wise. I liked Brandt even more for saying Jennings is vastly underrated, its obvious Andrew is well versed in the ways of the Greg (the Greg is kinda like the force in star wars, only obviously existing in real life).
Oh, and Brandt's view about how a 3-4 switch would effect the management of players convinced me that roster management will not impede Mike McCarthy from making a change to the 3-4 if he wants to do it.
I'm still surprised that Ted decided to let Andrew go, they really seem to have similar mind sets approaching the game and Brandt was a heck of a VP.
