As Packers fans, all we can do is watch as McCarthy brings in a new staff.

There are all sorts of scenarios. The most popular of which is switching to a 3-4 defense or hiring Winston Moss.

Either way, we've lost our identity on defense as one of the best bump-and-run defenses in the league.

The window is closing for Al Harris, Charles Woodson, and Aaron Kampman. If we move to a 3-4, Kampman is done.

With a 3-4, the Haynesworth and Peppers move we've been claiming for? They'd prove absolutely nothing.

Because our CBs coach got fired? As good a coach as Lionel Washington may have been, he is not the only knowledgeable person about cover 1 bump-n-run in the NFL.

We've still got the exact same CBs that played for us last year that made the bump-n-run successful. Nothing has been formally announced yet, but more importantly if we believe MM will play to the strengths of his players, then that means the next D coaching staff will use heavy doses of cover 1 bump-n-run too.

If we move into zone coverage, I would be pissed.' Though I know Woodson would excel.

The big goal is the Super Bowl. Harris and Woodson are up there in age and the window of opportunity is closing. Now they have to learn a new system again?
