Some Positive Packers Defensive Numbers

The talk surrounding the Green Bay Packers' defense is usually negative and with good reason over the last few years. It has mostly remained that way this season, especially with everybody looking at NFL's worst ranked run defense (163 yards per game). However, there are many positive stats being overlooked with Green Bay's defense so

Don't have any stats to back it up, but my eye test wants to say that the team has grown more confident with the ability of the secondary, and has been willing to put more pressure on them by going after ther QB more. Which is what I have been wanting them to do.

I think the next couple weeks, they should leave Sam and Tramon on islands more and open the blitzing capability from the S spot along with LBers.

I advocate we go get JJ Watt from the Texans. I say we break the bank to do it. If I was GM, that's what I'd do.

Good quarterbacks seem to be sprouting out of college all the time. Ted can't get us a pass rusher through the draft, maybe we could at least rattle the concept around.

We've also been mudstomped by the defensives of Seattle and Detroit - superior teams with regards to physicality. We have a long way to go, but a plus 6 in turnover ratio is a good number.
