What happens to our center position when Tretter comes off the PUP list? Is it possible that Tretter might end up at right tackle in the future? Or does he take back the center position?

Linsley has played very well and it wouldn't sit too well if he were benched. This is a good problem to have.

I'm sure Bulaga will step back in at RT. I'm more concerned with the D-line play .

Impressed with Linsley right now.

Linsely has been playing really well from what I can see. Haven't heard his named called much at all which is great. Saw him nail a great cut block on one of Lacey's big runs too when we ran that Zone stretch. Happy to have him with us! He's definitely not as athletic as Tretter but he's been pretty stout overall.

If Linsley is playing well when Tretter returns there is no reason to make the switch to Tretter.

Linsley is a C and maybe a G if you're pushing it. Tretter is a guy who could fill the Don Barclay role for us a role that Linsley could not.

I gotta believe the thinking in putting Tretter on the IR to return list had the Barclay loss in mind with the hopes Linsley could handle it...and he's done okay.

Tretter hasn't proven he can play Center (yet) much less an OT spot... I don't think you kepe moving him around (yet)

If Tretter comes back healthy, you let him practice at back-up inside OL until you think he's back up to speed, and then you make the decision of what to do with him (let him challenge for the starting spot or not... and move him or not)

Also I figure the starting center will be the one that best passes, Aaron Rodgers' two most important tests for a center .

1) "Great butt height"
2) "Sweating"

I wonder if that's how Rodgers also picks his women...

Great butt height there [grin1]
