I think the idea of the no-huddle is to limit defensive substitutions once you are all set it doesn't really matter if you snap the ball quickly or not.

But there is something to be said for "tempo" in and of itself. Football isn't all just knowing where you're x's and o's go. You've gotta feel it. You BREAK! Then your guys march up to the LoS together and they get in their stances. They did that under Holmgren. Mike's not big on that. They call the play and then they all just sort of wander up to the line and take their places.
Sometimes I think Mike's too much into being the thinking man's coach. That's why I like it when he goes with his gut at times, like when he says shit like WE'RE NOBODY'S UNDERDOG. You'll note they always play when after he gets like that.
Being smart and drawing up the X's and O's and being clever is important. But so is feeling it.
