Games at Chicago are always difficult. One thing is for sure and that is this will not be anywhere near a blowout. I don't have that faith I used to have in the offense after 3 weeks of football where I think they will come onto the football field and win the game for the team.
Still thinking back to last week, the play calling was just awful. There wasn't a single positive about the game. Someone pointed out that 4 plays in a row, the Packers spread out and ran verts against a cover 2 defense. That is just uncalled for and Rodgers/McCarthy are too good for something like that to happen. If nothing changes in the area of offensive play calling, it is going to be another long day for the Packers. There is disagreement there between Rodgers and McCarthy and of course, Rodgers tune changed during Tuesday's with Wilde which makes me think McCarthy convinced him its not a scheme issue.
I believe that the Packers defense can play with the Bears offense. The Bears offensive line is short two good players on the interior which should allow Diesel Daniels to have his way here and there. Is Matthews playing? Hope so.
Brandon Marshall is also banged up and I really hope the Packers take advantage of that. The Jets were physical with him after he came back from the injury and he did absolutely nothing. I think House or Tramon can get the job done there.
Cutler has been doing a fine job because he is not getting pressured. Jets changed that a little bit on Monday night and brought some pressure and Cutler had his faults. Other than that, he has been decently accurate and making sound decisions. Hoping Dom has something dialed up to get quick pressure on him. Hit Cutler early and often and it changes the entire game.
Going with Packers- 17 Bears- 13.
