One thing that stood out to me today is that Mike McCarthy doesn't know how to use Lacy. True, he put the ball on the ground in the first quarter, but that doesn't constitute him only getting 11 rushes. He's the type of back that needs to get touches and wear down the defense. Why was Harris in there? Let the guys get in a rhythm.

The way he calls the runs is a little off too. It seems that he uses the runs at the wrong times that continually leaves us in a 3rd and long.

Defense seems to have gotten it's shit together the last game and 3/4's, this "highly potent" offense needs to do it's part as well. I don't think they are being given the right tools to succeed...and that's on McCarthy.

Mike only wants to use Lacy as a decoy, so that Aaron can stat whore deep.

If Mike really wanted to get the running game going, he would use misdirection. Why run straight at these guys? They're stout. Take advantage of their overpursuit. Make them over run the play using draws and screens. This will also slow down their pass rushing. Forcing them to pursue sideline to sideline while eating up time of possession will also wear them down, as they themselves are not "smaller and quicker" dline types.

This is basic football 101. But Mike is not intersted in any of that. We all know why.
