No team plays full out for 60 minutes like you keep whining about otherwise the best teams would average way more than 30 points a game and would allow way less than 20. Football is about adjusting and reacting as much as it is about going out and kicking ass. The other team has good coaches and players too. Look at our game, we came out flat made a ton of mistakes against a well coached and super talented Seattle team in their own house and the score was 10-17 at Halftime. You keep acting like watching a Packers game should be like playing Madden on rookie mode but that's not how it works for any team.

We are all packer fans at the end of the day.

Speaking for myself, I am the biggest die hard Aaron Rodgers fan you can speak of(look at my user name).
My being upset at Aaron's performance doesn't make me less of a fan, but a critical one.

I think the packers are a good team and can cheer for them. I just can't cheer for them blindly.
I can't cheer being run over by a freight train, and looking forward to seeing that freight train again when we have nothing that can stop it. Even if we go 15-1, we will run into that freight train we can't stop.

For us, there are TWO Freight Trains. The 49ers and the Seahawks.

I'll cheer as loud as I can for the Packers and be the biggest fan. I don't think it will stop Lynch running all over us, or Kapernick throwing all over the place either.

We will see. It's game one right? =)

That's nice and all but if you are going to be bitter and miserable unless your team is the best and wins the Superbowl every year then there is literally no NFL team you could ever follow and actually be able to enjoy year after year. There are 32 teams in the league and nothing so inherently great about GB that they should be the best team over everyone else.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=321223026  The team that lost this game was 1 play away from winning the Superbowl a month later.

I expect my favorite team to compete for a Super Bowl each year, but I also know there's little I can do to change the outcome. I'm going to watch the games whether the team is good or bad just like I have for years, so I might as well find some way to enjoy it. I've wanted Dom Capers gone for a while now. James Campen, too. I've wanted multiple players benched and/or cut. But acting like a petulant child on internet forums isn't going to make any of that happen. It's just a practice in futility. If it truly makes some people feel better, than I suppose I would encourage it, but it certainly doesn't seem like any positive energy comes of it. It just leads to a less-than-pleasant forum experience for me and obviously at least a few others. It's completely possible to debate opinions intelligently without resorting to obviously subjective emotional responses, but that escapes many on the internet.

I'm going to enjoy watching the Packers beat up on the Jets next week. A lot can change between here and the end of the season. Aaron Rodgers could be lost to injury. Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman the same. One never knows what could change the entire face of a team. In the NFL, it doesn't really matter who is the most talented on paper or the best early in the season. It matters who is playing the best football throughout the playoffs and the Super Bowl. That very well might be the Seahawks again, but that's far from a guarantee. As Packers fans well know, injuries can dramatically turn the course of a season. How many here actually think the Packers wouldn't have been at least a little better the past few seasons had they been healthy? Week 1 when both teams are fairly healthy, the Seahawks are obviously better than the Packers and that shouldn't surprise anyone. But there's no way of knowing if that will be the case in the wildcard round or beyond.

Unless the 49ers(did you see them play yesterday?) and the Seahawks, somehow fall off the face of the Earth, the Packers will not see the Superbowl until some big improvements are made.

Being able to say that doesn't mean we aren't fans. There are realist kinds of fans, and rose colored fans. There's many types.

It's not the disappointment that is annoying, we got walloped and it sucked. Its the rash sweeping generalization that the sky is falling. Only one team in the history of football has won a Super Bowl going undefeated. Saying that one thorough beating is enough to rule out a team and fire every coach we can get our hands on is just flat out stupidity.

We got beat. It sucked. At least watch one more effing game for patterns and problems before crying about lost potential and the end of the free world.

You buncha losers calling yourselves Packer Fans! You're not true Packer fans. I haven't seen one of you cackling about the Bears loss. You're too busy whining. Pansies.

True Packer fans celebrate Bear losses like Packer victories. That's me! (Of course living in IL makes Bears losses even more important in my world.)

:)

Lighten up. We could have Jay Chokeler as our QB. See? It can get worse!

The issue have, and possibly other "whiners" is after 7 months to prepare, you see the same problems. Another 200 yard rushing performance by an opponent. Middle LBs underwhelming, even Dom said the D Line did a poor job of controlling gaps, tackling was suspect...

Of course you're playing other professionals paid to break tackles and create gaps in the trenches, but none the less it's the repetition of similar issues that seem to hinder this team. Yet again the defense couldn't get off the field and give the offense the ball back.

I'm hoping things will change. Dom himself admitted they're trying to balance new personnel groups and when asked about Jones sort of dodged the question but acknowledged they were trying to personnel groupings to assess talent. It's a work in progress still, so lets hope things improve.

How do we determine if someone "shit themselves?" Is it a lack of effort? As much as I don't care for Hawk and Jones I don't think they're not trying. Is it poor execution? Then what team doesn't have execution errors during 60 minutes. Is it a performance that isn't dominating? The other team is paid too. It just seems like such a vague generalization that's passed off as fact.

Mucky Tundra (12h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (12h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (12h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (12h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : rough injury for tank dell. guy can't catch abreak
beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating
Zero2Cool (20-Dec) : There is a rule that if your name starts with 'b' you lose 15 points. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just enforce them!
wpr (20-Dec) : and then there is Beast. Running away with it all.
beast (20-Dec) : As of tonight, 3 way tie for 2nd in Pick'em, that battle is interesting!
beast (20-Dec) : Lions vs Vikings could be the main last game as it could determine division winners or #1 vs #2 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Apparently, the editing is what pieces comments together. That Ted thing ... fake news.
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : LaFleur "opportunity that Ted Thompson thought was too good to pass up"
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.
Mucky Tundra (19-Dec) : Kyle Shanahan on signing De'Vondre Campbell as a FA last offseason: “We obviously made a mistake.”
packerfanoutwest (19-Dec) : Alexander’s last season with GB
Martha Careful (18-Dec) : if I were a professional athlete, I would probably look to see who the agent is for Kirk Cousins and then use him
beast (18-Dec) : $100 million fully guaranteed Kirk Cousins gets benched for rookie
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : a lower case b
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : The real lie is how beast capitalized his name in his message while it's normally spelled with
packerfanoutwest (18-Dec) : haha that's a lie
beast (17-Dec) : Despite what lies other might tell, Beast didn't hate the Winter Warnings, it felt refreshing to Beast for some reason.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : whiteout uniforms in general are pretty lame and weak. NFL greed at it's worst
Martha Careful (17-Dec) : The Viking uniforms, the whiteout uniforms specifically absolutely suck
beast (17-Dec) : Thanks Zero2Cool, looks a lot better now
beast (17-Dec) : Seems like someone has a crush on me, can't stop talking about me
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : Should be gooder now. The forum default theme went to goofy land.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : What the hell
packerfanoutwest (17-Dec) : yeah beast hates the Winter Warning Unies
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Okay I'm glad to know it's not just something happening to me lol
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Zero, did you copy the Packers uniforms from last night and white out the board?
beast (16-Dec) : Oh crap, is the board going to the Winter Warning Uniforms too?!? It's all white on white right now!
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : WR Odell Beckham Jr is officially a free agent after clearing waivers.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : Packers are 6th in sacks.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : RB David Montgomery will undergo season-ending knee surgery.
