Hyde expects to be ready for the Packers' game this week in Detroit, while Mulumba's might be season-ending. Meanwhile, one reason cornerback Casey Hayward didn't see any action on defense was because his hamstring tightened up.

Well someone has to replace Mulumba... and I might be looking CB Rolle right now... with Hayward injured and Hyde banged up... might need another physical DB and I think Rolle would be a good STer.

Of course if Hayward is also missing games then might be room for another player.. say the guy they think will be the best STer of Janis, Bradford, Elliot... or the best STer LB...

Adrian Hubbard would be my choice to take Andy Mulumba's spot.

I'm just at a lost at what they could do. Rest the guy? Make him stretch more? Have a IV attached permanently to keep him well hydrated? I mean, if sitting out all last season wasn't enough I'm not sure where they go here.

The guy is simply not available and can't be depended upon. I'm not holding my breath for any substantial contributions from Hayward. I'd love to be surprised, but I'm not very optimistic and haven't been for a while now.
