A lot of things went wrong in that game, but at the top of my list is play calling.

The first series, we ran successfully - why? Because Seattle was playing to stop what the Packers do best - throw it down the field. They quickly adjusted and stopped the runs. The Packers, however, didn't adjust to the adjustment, and to make things worse, they ran off tackle and outside where Seattle was set up the strongest. I remember that one time where Rodgers changed the play to an inside run by Starks on 3rd and 5 I think, and it worked. I stopped complaining about the whole "run first" mentality in the preseason because Lacy and the O Line seemed dominating enough that it was a good idea. Well, not in this game - not against the best defense in a decade or two. The Packers should have gone to passing down the field, setting up the run by passing. That might have not worked either, but at least we would have had what they call in boxing "a puncher's chance".

When Bulaga went down, that clearly changed what the Packers could do. 🇦🇷 hardly had the ball before Bennett sacked him for the eventual safety. Add to that they're starting a rookie C and you have 40% of your offensive line inexperienced vs. as you even said, one of the best defenses in recent history. The downfield 2011 Packer's offense wasn't necessarily going to work either.

I've never seen that from him before. But now everyone in the league has seen the film. So look out.
