Anyone have the scoop on Bostick's "leg injury?"

Personally I'm not worried. I'm sure it's nothing.

looks good so far, only 2 preseason games in , i think he has a shot at starting, rodgers needs more time and quarles shows promise and usually gets hurt !!

Bostick injury timeline puts Week 1 in doubt

The lower leg injury Green Bay Packers tight end Brandon Bostick sustained on Saturday against the St. Louis Rams likely will keep him out for the remainder of the preseason.

That also could leave his availability for the Packers' regular-season opener at Seattle on Sept. 4 in doubt.

They're being pretty vague.

Bostick is not expected to need surgery, but McCarthy would not give any other specifics about the injury.

Week 1... Quarless or Rodgers the starter at TE? You want a rook starting in that environment. Welcome to the NFL, Richard Rodgers.

They've given Richard a lot of first team reps in training camp. That was a wise move. TE depth takes a hit for sure though. Bostick is doing a bad job of being available.

It's nice to have such great depth at TE. I don't have as high an opinion of Bostick as some have. I see him as behind Quarless and Rodgers. I like what I've seen of Stoneburner at least as much as Bostick, and Taylor, of course, is likely to stay because of his ability to play FB and on ST.
