After a spirited week of practice, the Green Bay Packers wrapped up training camp and checked out of their dorms at St. Norbert college on Wednesday.  They get set to head to St. Louis to take on the Rams this Saturday in their preseason week two matchup. One thing the Packers won't have to battle [...]

Pretty good article and I think it made some great points.

Though I disagree about CB’s Jumal Rolle, I think he's currently on the outside looking in... but he's been making plays and has nothing to lose, if he could make a couple of huge plays, he has everything to gain... and maybe could push Banjo for the 10th DB spots, as they normally keep 6 CBs and 4 Safety... but they're more flexible this year with Hyde being counted as a Safety... so many have thought it could be 5 of each... but Rolle might be able to keep CB at 6, either taking it from Banjo or them keeping 11 DBs.

That being said, I think Banjo might be on the most to lose... he looks like he could be a key STer, but also needs to show more at DB to make sure he clearly is going to earn a spot.

Rolle is on the outside looking in, but he has definitely made some plays out there, but so could Micah Hyde or Jarrett Bush. I have the feeling it is between him and Goodson for that final CB spot. The depth at safety could play into how many they keep.

Everything is at stake! You don't want to start the preseason 0-2.

Aside from stupid penalties I didn't see anything negative. Maybe the back-up reeceivers not catching the football, Flynn holding it for too long or not scoring 20 more points, but otherwise it was a perfect game. Well done, Packers!

The org has to be excited about Pennel, Janis and a guy like Elliott even though that tackle was brutal for context.

I see no way other than injury Pennel and Janis haven't already made it. Elliott is unlikely but who knows? Plus, we have Rajion Neal at RB who is injured and Joe Thomas at ILB to look forward to next week.

Lots of darkhorses who are showing well. That's pretty exciting stuff. If we could just get some high picks to show up. Ha Ha isn't very impressive. Adams looks okay...hasn't had all that many chances. Rodgers may be okay...Thornton and Bradford (who did make one nice play) look to be disappointments. It ain't right I'm more excited about a 7th round WR and an undrafted NT than I am our 1st, 2nd and two 3rd round picks. It drives me crazy we can't get anything from our high picks.

I personally think judging Ha-Ha harshly at this point is ridiculous. There's just not nearly enough to go by. Same with Davante Adams. These rookies have even less time than they used to in terms of acclimating to the pro game. Whether they come from Alabama or Fresno State, this is the NFL -- the learning curve is a bit more steep.

I remember Vic So'oto looking like a world beater a few years ago in preseason. He's out of the league now.

That's not to say we shouldn't be excited when we see a flash or glimpse of what's to come. We should, because it's fun and shit. But the extent to which one preseason game tells us who was a great pick or who was a dud is severely limited.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.
