It's absolutely amazing to me that a guy who had surgery as long ago as Matthews did can say his hand isn't quite ready but it will be...SOON? Huh? The guy has had MONTHS to get it healthy and it's still not there, but in a few days/weeks it will be? Boy, those few weeks of TC must have magical healing powers.

We know that isn't true as TC seems to be kryptonite for our overall well being.

His hand probably wont be 100% for the rest of his life let alone after some months.

Right. It won't...but to hear Clay speak in terms of it "not being ready"..."but it's close"...and "will be ready soon" is odd. How is it not quite ready after all this time but will magically be in an few days or a couple of more weeks?

I think it may be just caution. A guy doing a "regular" job would probably be considered 100%. But to an NFL linebacker who needs to be able to throw off 300 plus pound guys and chase QB's all over, it probably takes a lot more to make certain it's healed.
I'm still worried it will get reinjured and he will be lost permanently.
