Mike Neal (PUP) and Jamari Lattimore (stomach illness) are back in pads.



Another padded practice, however, these two are unable to participate in the padded practice portion. I think?

I'm really interested to see Neal play at 260lb in preseason. The guy is a ridiculous athlete and wasn't too bad at LB last year for being oversized and inexperienced. I was hoping he'd stay as a DT and be lined up with Daniels inside in our Nickle formations but I guess he's going more full time LB. Will be fun to see how it plays out.

From what I understand, they were put on a pup list that allows them to practice as soon as they are cleared. An "active" pup list or something like that. Sorry, don't remember where I read it. I think the pup stuff works differently before the season actually starts.

Oh yes, I vaguely remember something about needing to practice for 2 days before fully padded practices. I though that was a general thing for the start of camp but perhaps that applies to all players coming off injuries as well.
