I thought he would make more rookie mistakes.

These predictions are pretty much what I thought he would do. More of a season like Matt Ryan had.

Really glad we got this guy. Genuisly drafted when he dropped that low.

I think the more appropriate term is "geniusly developed" after he was drafted.

MM and Tom Clements deserve some big time credit for getting Rodgers to be a good NFL QB in his first year starting.

Peyton's back-up is Jim Sorgi though and Brady's was Cassel, who hadn't started a game since high school. Now those guys have some years left and cassel is an ok QB it seems, but it was a great decision to go for him when he fell all the way down the the 24th spot, even though we still did have a good QB at that time.

Back on topic though, like I said, he performed way better than I thought, despite having a pretty bad O-line and running game. Thought he'd have stats compared to Ryan's, yet, he has about the same stats as Manning. Great start to a career.
