Before we received word via e-mail from the Packers that special teams coordinator Mike Stock has retired, a reader asked us via e-mail if wed caught wind of rumors that Stock and three other members of the teams coaching staff were in danger of being relieved of their duties.

So after hearing about Stock, we ran the rumors by a league source with knowledge of the dynamics of the teams football operations. Though our source has heard nothing definitive, the source was aware of the rumors that Stock, defensive coordinator Bob Sanders, defensive ends coach Carl Hairston, and offensive line coach James Campen could be gone.

Campen and Sanders were working with the team when coach Mike McCarthy was hired. Harison arrived with McCarthy in 2006.



I don't think I'd miss any of those names mentioned from our staff.

Should we really fire the o-line coord, I was seeing some flashes in the o-line in late season ... then again I said the same thing the previous year.

The Green Bay Press Gazette reported that Mike McCarthy is going away from the Denver ZBS. I'm guessing if Campen goes it will be to make room for a guy with a different approach.

They might be a bit dissapointed with the development of Moll and Barbre as well.

Anyway, It wouldn't hurt my feelings if we changed the ZBS to a different style to see what we get out of it.

Campen was never a ZBS OL coach. He played power OL with us I believe.

Do you think there is any issues with Campen and the whole Favre thing this past summer?
