Re-setting Packers' depth chart: Offense

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Between now and when the Green Bay Packers report to training camp on July 25, we will spend considerable time looking at the roster from a variety of angles.

In the days leading up to camp, we will break things down by position group. And before that, we will look at several players who need to give the Packers more than they did last year.

But before we do any of that, let's reset the depth chart as it likely stands heading into training camp.

My guess at the offense.

Quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers, Matt Flynn

Running backs: Eddie Lacy, James Starks, DuJuan Harris

Fullbacks: John Kuhn

Receivers: -- Jordy Nelson, Jarrett Boykin, Davante Adams, Jeff Janis
-- Randall Cobb, Jared Abbrederis,

Tight ends: Richard Rodgers, Andrew Quarless, Brandon Bostick, Colt Lyerla

Tackles: Right side -- Bryan Bulaga, Don Barclay
Left side -- David Bakhtiari, Derek Sherrod

Guard: Right side -- T.J. Lang, Lane Taylor
Left side -- Josh Sitton, Barclay

Center: JC Tretter, Corey Linsley.

Here's something interesting:

While there are high expectations for Lyerla, the undrafted rookie did not flash often enough during offseason practices.

Sounds like something the coaches told him to say, as a message to Lyerla.

yep. Every player will have to earn their spot on the team. Just making a guess as to who they will be.

I sort of went with the crowd by kicking Taylor off and keeping Lyerla on it. At RB there is a tossup. I won't be shocked if Sherrod is released. Many other places comments can be made but I am taking the lazy way out.
