Tretter gets creative in his preparation

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It must have been an odd sight if any of his neighbors in Green Bay got a glimpse of what was happening in JC Tretter's garage this spring. There was the 6-foot-4, 307-pound Packers offensive lineman bent over in a three-point stance snapping a football — to his sister. But in many ways, it made sense that Tretter would be snapping a ball to whomever, whenever and wherever he could. After all, he was being touted as the leading candidate to become the starter at a position he has never before played.

How tall is his sister? Is it a good simulation to get his butt height level down right?

My goodness! I will snap the ball to Katie anytime any place.

JC is 6'4" so I'm guessing she's around 5'5"??

This guy will be (most likely) the Packers starting center in 2014. He seems to have a great work ethic and is intelligent enough to call the protections with ease. Corey Linsley might make some noise and could steal a spot in 2015, though. He is very strong, but isn't as gifted athletically and probably isn't as smart as Tretter. I actually think the Packers will be OK at center moving forward. Probably not "great," but there aren't many "great" centers in the league. Period.
