Alright, alright. We’re not really that enthusiastic about fat man, B.J. Raji. But there’s hope.

Last year, Raji was entering the final season of his contract. He actually — like a total moron — turned down $8 million per year during the season. If you had no more information, you’d probably figure, well, obviously this guy had a career year.

Nope. Worst season of fat man’s life! Fool managed only 19 tackles and registered no sacks for the second season in a row.

You or I could have put up that kind of production.

Raji has never really been a monster. He's had times where he's been good but nothing like JJ Watt or Geno Atkins who are actual monsters. Hopefully BJ has a great season and helps us win a Superbowl then gets a monster contract to play for someone else so we get a 3rd round pick out of him. I sure as hell wouldn't trust giving that guy a big wad of cash after seeing his effort last year.

I have been disappointed with him since he has been with us (I have had high expectations...I have a Raji Jersey) but I don't know how much of this is his playing out of position for a couple years. I think with the line additions the last couple years he'll be at his regular spot (NT) and more effective with some help.

He's no Ngata or Woolfork but he doesn't have to be. He just needs to be solid enough pushing the middle to make others more effective.

I'd be very happy to eat my words if Raji did come through, but I don't think so. BTW, I thought he didn't like and wanted to get away from playing NT early in his career.

I believe this 6-2 337 lb ball of thunder will surprise many this season. I have nothing recent to base this on other than he is a pure NT who has ability in getting to the QB. A play making pure NT. He has been forced to play out of position for the past 3 seasons. This year, he returns to his natural position, with a wealth of talent around him, and behind him on the depth chart to finally work a reasonable rotation.

BJ Raji could very well see his best year as a Packer, or, at least as good as 2010, which was pretty damn good.

The problem with being to high about him moving to NT is he was just as bad as last year the last time he played NT. I don't think Raji cares about what position he plays he just cares about his stats. He's only going to try when he has an opportunity to get some stats. Having a NT who doesn't like to play run defense is not a good deal. I just hope if he plays like shit they aren't afraid to throw Boyd or Thornton in there.

BJ Raji does not have the mental capacity to comprehend being a player on an eleven man defense, where he suppose to play his role. That takes a special kind of character to be "the man" in the middle. Should have just let him walked this offseason. Apparently, he came cheap on a one year contract, but I think we overpaid.

I've mentioned I have home and away Raji jerseys for sale, haven't I?
