He wasn't a guy who was going to end up on the PS, he wasn't a veteran, but his time in Green bay were over.

I'll give you Patrick Lewis, C is a little different then TE or WR, but hey you found 1.

Of the guys you have listed, I only see Janis as a guy that they may want to stash away on the PS. Hubbard, Goodson and Abbrederis will probably make the team.

Lyerla has one shot, that's with Green Bay, if he is as talented as projected, the only way he doesn't make the team is because he just cant conform to the NFL life.

There was a reason no other team gave him a shot, hopefully Ted makes them all look foolish.

There is no reason to think any team will be trying to grab him away, even if he did end up on the PS.

We just have some different opinions on how these players would fare on our PS.

In the case of Lyerla, I can easily see other teams giving him a shot, being able to say "he was good enough for GB to sign..."

Janis, no way he lasts there, not with his athleticism, and a full camp working with Rodgers. Same with Abbrecadabara. Plus, they give us remarkable depth 1-6, which can come in handy. We were ranked #26th in red zone scoring last year. No doubt Rodgers and Finley's and Cobb's injuries played their part, but just listing the last two kind of makes the point on all these guys mentioned.

And, if you feel differently that's fine. I guess we will know in a few months how it all shakes out.
