My favorite Favre memory.....

Got to be 2005!

Started in January at Lambeau field.
Favre threw four interceptions, and the Vikings knocked the Packers out of the playoffs with a 31-17 victory.

Then the entire 2005 Packers season. Favre threw 29 interceptions and led the Packers to a 4-12 season.
Ended up with a QB rating of 70.9

Yep, 2005 was an excellent Favre year. :thumbleft:

But that's just me, carry on.......

That's a great one. One of my personal favorites was a couple years back when Sharper claimed he knew everything Favre would be doing only to have Favre hit Driver on a slant and Driver run right by Sharper. I'm pretty sure Sharper soiled himself trying to catch good old Donald and on top of that I think this was the first time Favre picked up Driver and ran around with him fireman style.

Things i will always remember is how he would get into shoving matches with the defensive players. I loved watching when we would play Tampa and Brett and Warren Sapp would be pushing each other all day and head butting each other.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I don't have any specific things, but I like how he keeps cheering and being happy after throwing a TD and how he has remained pretty normal to the public etc.

I think this is a great example

The Brett Favre play I remember the best.. is simply this.. when I knew without a doubt he was our QB..

I was there that day.. I breathed the rare air that day.. it was something if I think deeply about.. that I can feel again running through my veins..

His will.. his love of the game... the joy he laid upon the field.. time and time again.. This is my remember when.

There are SO many for me.
One was when we beat the Bears at Chicago, in a snow and wind storm on halloween night. The wind was so bad, when the ball was kicked, it would go maybe 15 yards, sideways. Favre took off on a run, and dove into the endzone. (It looked like he was running in "slow motion!") LOL!

Another is one few people ever saw. I was at Packer practice a few years ago, and a cop was just inside the practice field fence. The cop was right by us, and jokingly yelled to Favre, "Hey Brett! I'm open!" And Favre turned and threw the ball to the cop, catching him totally off guard, and hitting the cop right in the hands! Well, the cop DROPPED it of course (we "boo'ed" him! LOL!) But wothout missing a beat, the cop picked up the football, took a pen out of his pocket, and pretended to autograph the football! Then threw it right back to Favre! Favre was laughing and he saod "I liked that!"
I took a pic of Favre just after he got the ball back from the cop.
If i could, i'd post the pic. But i don't see any "add an attachment" on here now.

Heh. One of my favorite memories was last year against the Hawks in the Playoffs. Ryan Grant had just fumbled the ball twice and helped put us in a 14-0 hole. Brett seemed to just smile and continue encouraging him.

After the second fumble, Grant ended up with 200+ yards and Favre had a monster day. Now, THAT is an example of an intangible that Favre brought. Had nothing to do with his skill sets. He's just simply a leader who can make everyone around him better.

We ended up winning that game 42-21.

Great moment.
