It is a long long long way until GB has to set their final roster.

Someone will be injured during this time. Someone will underwhelm the staff. One or two of the recently signed free agents will make a place for themselves. I just wanted to see how the team is going to fit together.

It is really tough to pigeonhole the defensive front 7. They will be moved around so much.

I used the most recent Ourlads depth chart. It doesn't include any of the most recent FAs. For now I will pretend none of them will make the team. As I said one or two always end up making the team. It is possible that Linsley is both C and LS. That will free up a space. it is possible they only go with 2 QB and that will free up a space as well.

Good Stuff WPR, I am doing the same thing, I have my final 53, working on PS players.

I am differing in a few places, especially D-line.

My early bold prediction is Raji and Guion will both be gone by the end of TC.

Neither will cost much if they are cut, I think Ted signed them both as security blankets until the draft was over.

I'm probably wrong, but It's going to be fun watching these young guys compete, and if 2 of them show enough, I believe Ted will not hesitate to keep them.

Will post my roster in a few minutes.

It's really hard without seeing a lot of the players or at least how they actually plan to use them. Instead of just a straight 53 I'll do a list of most likely IMO to make the team so there will be more than 53 guys

Lock
Good Chance
Maybe
Long Shot

QB - 1 of Flynn/Tolzien will make it 1 wont
Aaron Rodgers
Matt Flynn
Scott Tolzien

RB
Eddie Lacy
James Starks
John Kuhn
Jonathan Franklin
Dujuan Harris
One of the FAs

WR
Jordy Nelson
Randall Cobb
Jarrett Boykin
Davante Adams
Jared Abbrederis
Jeff Janis
Kevin Dorsey
Chris Harper
Miles White

TE - possibly comes down to one or the other between Bostick/Taylor
Andrew Quarless
Richard Rodgers
Brandon Bostick
Ryan Taylor

OL
David Bakhtiari
Josh Sitton
TJ Lang
Bryan Bulaga
Don Barclay
JC Tretter
Derek Sherrod
Corey Linsley
Lane Taylor

DL
Datone Jones
Mike Daniels
Khyri Thornton
Mike Neal
BJ Raji
Josh Boyd
Jerel Worthy
Letroy Guion

LB - I can see 1 or 2 of Barrington, Lattimore or Mulumba hitting the road depending on rest of roster.
Clay Matthews
AJ Hawk
Nick Perry
Julius Peppers
Brad Jones
Carl Bradford
Jamari Lattimore
Sam Barrington
Andy Mulumba
Nate Palmer

CB
Sam Shields
Casey Hayward
Tramon Williams
Micah Hyde
Davon House
Demetri Goodson
Jarrett Bush

S
HaHa Clinton-Dix
Morgan Burnett
Sean Richardson
Chris Banjo

30 locks +3 for special teams leaves 20 spots up for grabs between the rest + UDFA/camp body types.

Yeah, I was thinking about this for most of the day. Haven't set anything up but am thinking about how this roster will change out. Nice job wpr.

Buckeye, I was thinking along the same lines with regards to Raji. Might be the end for him in GB, as I think they want more energy and disruption from the NT position. Some athleticism on the DL could be a good thing, as the pure bulk we were throwing out there these past couple of years didn't stop much.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

1) I don't see keeping two true Centers AND a long snapper. If Linsley shows potential at Center and long snapper Goode is gone.

2) Versatile players like Hyde may have to make a Banjo or Richardson expendable.

3) I think it's a real chess game with who ends up on a practice squad. Personally, I see more teams interested in Rogers or Abbredaris (added value as a return guy),
vs. White or Dorsey. When you have to bring a player from PC to Roster I don't see Dorsey or White having the juice to prompt that but could see the other two getting gobbled up.

3) I don't see both Bush and Goodson making the final roster. Just no room for a project AND pretty much ST only player.

4) You got this team very young very fast on the defensive front other than Peppers. Guion, Worthy, and Raji all gone would be exactly the opposite of the experience Capers has been campaigning for. You have Boyd, Daniels, Thornton, Jones , Pennel. Seems like a huge leap of faith on the youth front and just kind of jumps out at me as very risky.

Again, not meant to be critical just initial thoughts on the list of names and how I see it.
