I did not expect him to fall as far as he did. I rated him similarly to Davante Adams. I figured Adams would go higher. I knew I was higher on Abbrederis than most people were, but to get him in round five is great. If you haven't already, find the Ohio State game on youtube and watch him torch Bradley Roby. I know they play different positions, but there is not a four-round difference between those two players.

By the way, the receving corps now looks like the following...

1. Jordy Nelson
2. Randall Cobb
3. Jarrett Boykin
4. Davante Adams
5. Jared Abbrederis

I think they're going to try to stash Jeff Janis on the practice squad if they can.

So, how many concussions has this guy had? He says one while I've read anywhere from three to five.

I think they'll carry 6 WR's to be safe after what happened last year with the injuries. No way they're stashing Janis if he shows any kind of promise in pre-season.

Just curious why his lack of strength didn't hurt him at Wisconsin. 4 reps of 225? That's like a 4 on the wonderlic...things like that just don't happen very often. You would've thought with the NFL combine coming he would've worked to get ready and the best he could do was 4 reps? As I said earlier, that proves he's not a juicer, but why can't he do more than just 4 reps?

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

His body really doesn't take hits very well and it will probably be rougher against NFL defenses than against big 10 defenses. Really hope he can stay clean and stay off the training table because he's got some skills.

Abracadabra really did his magic!

A kid from Wisconsin starts his NFL career as a WR getting passes from Aaron Rodgers, I can't imagine how it can be any better!

Not only that but he will be facing a 3rd or 4th string defensive back when he sees the field. If he can run his routes and catch the ball this kid is going to have a very very nice first season.

Nothing really relevant as most kickoffs are just touchbacks now.

Fixed it for you. ;)

Of course, Boykin will have to beat out my man Kevin Dorsey.
