Keiana has a concert tonight and needs to be there at 5:20pm. Then it lasts until about 8pm or so. After that, I'll come home and go to bed banking on the great PackersHome members to bring all the information here.

In case I haven't whined about it already. I hate this draft setup. Absolutely hate it. I miss DRAFT WEEKEND. That was gorgeous. That was excellent.

I do think there should be some changes made to the number of players a team can have on their rosters as well as game day rosters. Why not? Would make for a better product overall if they expanded both IMO. Less attrition due to injuries.

That's for the future.

I have to work ... so I will probably slingbox it... I loath the NFL for moving the draft into probably my busiest part of the year.. May. Two finger salute.

My kids will be in bed. My wife will be visiting her mother in the hospital for some of the night. I will be sitting in my living room with the NFL Network on and my laptop open to Packers Home. Luckily for me it will be a quiet day on the work side on Friday as we have National Day of Honour to salute our military members for their service in Afghanistan. My only concern is we may go for beers after the ceremony and I may sleep through our Friday night selections.

Saturday is great as both my kids are invited to a birthday party and the missus is taking them.

Priority Number One:

Habs and Bruins game 4. Great theatre.. Old time hockey.. These two teams hate each other.

Priority Number Two:

NFL Draft 1st. round.

Priority Number Three:

Blue Jays and Phillies.

God Bless the person who invented the remote control.

I won't watch it at all.

Draft weekend used to be a super fun weekend for me. I'd hit my favorite sports bar about half an hour before it started, run up a huge tab (two meals plus beer plus the occasional "home run" or "what an idiotic pick" or "Mel Kiper is a moron" shots), walk home (no condition to drive), crash early evening, get up the next day, repeat, and be semi-productive on Monday. Was a social event. Second only to Packer playoff games.

Effing NFL.

I can't go to bars in the middle of the work week. I can't stay up late and be even semi-productive any more, much less after I've put in a minimum of 50 hours before Thursday evening. And I no longer have cable, and even if I did, the local cable doesn't get NFL Network.

Effing NFL

Bastards.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jun) : One person on Twitter=cannon law
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : Well, to ONE person on Tweeter
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : According to Tweeter
