These New Yokers are the biggest bunch of assholes I know tbh.

Everyone knows Favre didn't have a good last part of the season, but c'mon. They're just trying to put the blame of pretty much everything on him.

I hope Cohwer comes to coach there after the Jets release Favre, Favre joins another team, kicks the Jets butt in the regular season throwing for 6 TDs, NYJ fans will suddenly change their attitude, wish Favre all the best, say he should never been let go and they go 2-14.

I wouldn't blame him for not wanting Favre as the QB. First it is a lot of money to pay a player that probably at best only plays 1 year. He would be coming in to build his team, and if Brett is not part of the coaches strategy, he should not be forced to. That is how coaches get screwed over.

Obviously, but can't they just release him in that case instead of bashing him from every side possible. It's just the mentality from those New Yorkers and even his team mates that is really annoying me.

I understand Cohwer doesn't want to play with Favre, but if I where to coach teh Jets, I'd put up with him for at least another year, if he decides to return fast. Who else would you want to start, Clemens? Maybe you can get a guy in the draft soon or in FA. If Favre would keep playing the way he did in the last part of the season, either bench him or release him, we did with KGB.

EDIT : Oh, and for clarification, Cohwer's reason for not joining is understandable, if I could get a coach like that, he could reform my entire coaching staff.

There is more to it than just inheriting Favre. Brett would probably actually fit pretty well with Cowher offensively. He is more run oriented and that would probably help Favre last the season.

The bigger issue is that from what I have seen is that the Jets are sitting 127 million towards an estimated 123 million 09 cap. No space to do anything. Cutting Favre would save 13 million towards that.

TheKanataThrilla (23h) : I could actually see Seattle inquiring about Willis.
TheKanataThrilla (23h) : If we took a flyer on a QB, I like Kyle McCord out of Syaracuse. Keep Willis definitely, but don't turn down a good trade.
Mucky Tundra (23h) : RB Kareem Hunt as well
Zero2Cool (8-Mar) : Tyreek Hill also arrested before or during Chiefs time for assault.
Martha Careful (8-Mar) : Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested for assault. They are now even more likely to supplement the WR position
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : So weak I had to say it twice!
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : But it feels like a weak QB draft class
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : But it feels like a weak QB draft class
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : I suppose that puts Seattle in play for a QB in the 1st round this year
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : Gotta say, didn't see Geno getting traded from the Seahawks
Zero2Cool (8-Mar) : Breer: Seahawks offered the Raiders Geno Smith and DK Metcalf for EDGE Maxx Crosby; Raiders "quickly" declined.

Zero2Cool (25-Feb) : Gutekunst and Jaire Alexander’s agent, John Thornton, are meeting this week in Indianapolis to determine the future of the Packers’ 28-year-
Zero2Cool (25-Feb) : Gutekunst says Mark Murphy told him he can trade their first-round pick despite the draft being in Green Bay.
Zero2Cool (24-Feb) : Packers. 🤦
Zero2Cool (24-Feb) : One team.
Zero2Cool (24-Feb) : One team petition NFL to ban Brotherly Shove.
beast (23-Feb) : Seems like he was just pissed because he was no longer the starter
beast (23-Feb) : Campbell is right, he's rich and he doesn't have to explain sh!t... but that attitude gives teams reasons to never sign him again.
dfosterf (22-Feb) : I have some doubt about all that
