So I thought I'd finally post something relevant to what this forum is about and remember some of the great things we Packer fans have gone through with Favre. They don't just have too be game winning drives, big touchdown throws. Anything and everything about Brett that we loved.

I'll start:

In one of the December games last season in 2007 I think it was against the Seahawks, Brett Favre throwing snowballs at Donald Driver. I always got a great chuckle out of that because his snowball throwing motion is exactly the same as his normal football throws.

I'm sure this thread is going to have some great responses... I want to throw one out early that might not even get mentioned.

Did he or didn't he?

In 2001 I think it was, Michael Strahan "sacked" Favre to set the NFL single season record over Gastineau.

Well, it's 2009, (there's my first one) I for one still do not know for sure if Strahan earned that sack, I THINK he did, but I'm not sure.

I know Brett didn't seem too terribly upset about it one way or another, and I think Strahan has been hounded more about that question than he ever hounded any quarterback.

I guess we have to wait for the book from Brett.

I'll play,
Remember way back when, The Pack was 0-3, The majik man goes down, and this kid Favre comes in, I was at my normal place (we call it Packer Central), watching the game with all my Packer friends.

Bretts first completed pass was of course deflected and he caught it, at the time we were all laughing thinking without Magic another season was lost, I vividly remember saying to my friends"you know if this guy ever becomes anything that is going to be a hell of a trivia question, who did Brett Favre complete his first pass to?".

The rest they say is history. I have used that question many times throughout the years on the radio, and until recently it would stump many listeners.

Now the pass has become part of Brett's legacy and most know the answer.

Remember when.

My favorite Brett moment is the game he played after the passing of his father. He was made of steel that night.
I am a woman and I love football.

And how prohetic you were, buckeyepackfan. It is literally a "trivial pursuit" game question.

Question:

"Who was the first player to catch a pass from Brett Favre?"

Answer:

"Brett Favre"

I always loved how they worded that, and not living in Wisconsin, I had one "gimme" in the box that my competitors might not. :thumbleft:

Good one, Buckeye !

My favorite Favre memory.....

Got to be 2005!

Started in January at Lambeau field.
Favre threw four interceptions, and the Vikings knocked the Packers out of the playoffs with a 31-17 victory.

Then the entire 2005 Packers season. Favre threw 29 interceptions and led the Packers to a 4-12 season.
Ended up with a QB rating of 70.9

Yep, 2005 was an excellent Favre year. :thumbleft:

But that's just me, carry on.......

One of my favorites was in 2004 against the Giants. He gets taken down hard by the Giants d-tackle, and knocks his head on the ground. Looked like it hurt. He came out of the game, looked he was pretty loopy. Pederson came into the game and did what backup QB's do best... stalled the drive. Then, like a flash, Favre comes running onto the field and gets Pederson outta the huddle. If you blinked, you missed it. He throws a dart to Walker for a TD. A lot of people reminisce about when Favre came into the game with concussion and pulled a TD pass out of his butt... but Favre doesn't, because he can't even remember it. a warrior to the bitter end.
