I don't see us in any better position than most other teams at WR depth. Boykin did OK as our #3 as a fill in, but it is unknown if he can do it for a year, and even more unknown if he could step up to fill as one of the top 2. Jones contract was IMO cheap enough for the increased depth and security having him

lol no. Lacy wouldn't have to "carry" the offense just because our top WR are Jordy/Boykin or Cobb/Boykin. You think our passing game would just fall off the map haha, no chance. Even if we were down Jordy AND Cobb the other teams would still be setting up their defenses to stop Rodgers. The more WRs that went down the more we would lean on the running game certainly but as long as Rodgers is back there we wouldn't have to be carried by it.

I am pleased.

Good for both teams.

I was just listening to the SCORE out of Chicago. I came in the middle of the conversation so I don't know who was talking but he said this is one of the deeper drafts when it comes to WR talent.
He also said a couple of coaches were pretty disgusted with the depth at TE. One of them said this is the worst group of TE that he ever saw.

I think the world of Rodgers ability, and Cobb, Jordy, and Boykin are still an above average #1-3 on the receiver depth chart. But with Finley probably being done (or never the same) I don't see how the Packers don't draft another receiver project somewhere in the 2nd-4th rounds. I'll be highly surprised if they don't, and a little disappointed. As others have said Thompson puts a lot of value in the receiver position and has pretty consistently hit big on his picks.
