The way it sounds Peppers will be paid 8.5mil the 1st year, no other guaranteed money.

Peppers gets a 1 years audition with a chance to make more if he plays at a high level.

Ted goes outside his comfort zone, but by waiting he gets peppers at a lower price with no long term worried.

Gotta love it!!!!

Peppers not only brings the option of a 4-3, but he brings the option of a 5-2. I think Raji, Datone Jones, and Mike Daniels go into the season as unquestioned starters with guys like Nick Perry, Julius Peppers, and Clay Matthews lining up at random places to cause all sorts of confusion.

I'm already confused just thinking about the different possibilities.

Edit: I didn't even mention Mike Neal!
