Whoever said Peppers played a 3-4 in Carolina... No. He was the marquee player of a 4-man defensive line that included Kris Jenkins, Brentson Buckner, and Mike Rucker.
After he bolted from Carolina, he expressed the desire to play in a team that runs the 3-4. He played end with his hand on the ground his entire career, and his size at 6'7" doesn't exactly make him the best fit. He does his best with his hand in the ground.
That, along with the fact that our defensive line coach is Mike Trgovac (whom Peppers didn't like much) makes me believe he wouldn't exactly be a good fit.
