Damn, looks like EDS is GONE!!!!!!

I posted the same thing about Sam Shields about a week ago.

Let's hope this works for Evan Dietrich-Smith also.

4 starting centers in 4 years is not the way to treat your all everything QB!!!!!

tick tock tick tock time is running out.

Then we all can sit back and watch as the Packers O-line tries, ONE MORE TIME, to come together as a unit, while all along Rodgers will be running for his life because The Packers have an unproven 2nd year guy trying to become a starting center.

WHEN ARE SOME OF YOU GONNA REALIZE THERE IS MORE TO JUST SNAPPING THE BALL TO THE QB WHEN YOU PLAY CENTER?????

Either the Packers will make EDS a good enough offer to keep him, or else they have a pretty good idea that Tretter is decent.

True, there is more to playing center than snapping, but what you CAN get by with in the Packer system is having a bull who can open holes up the middle. The new age kind of pulling center hasn't arrived in Green Bay yet - not with EDS, not with Tretter. The good news is, it's cheaper and easier to find that old-fashioned kind to blast holes up the middle.

Yep the point is that there is no use in getting bent out of shape about this stuff. We have to take the good with the bad.

Hey, Daryn Colledge looks to be available.

Can he play center?
