I think the coaches in Seattle just know how to get more out of their players. Didn't they lose their defensive coordinator a head coaching position and follow that up with having the best defense (in points allowed) in the NFL? Then they basically dismantle the Broncos who had the best scoring offense in the NFL ... HISTORY.


I say it's more about the coaches than the players. Perhaps the GM there knows how to get players that fit his coaches scheme?

I think you can build a team through the draft, and build young experienced youth like we have had for a number of years, But I think once in a while you need to go for it even if you hurt next year or two's salary cap in doing so. I don't think this is the year to do it though. I think this is the year to make big moves in the draft, getting better quality and less quantity, and maybe next year will only have a couple needs that can be filled through FA.

If we keep on the path we are on, we may have a playoff contending team every year but I don't think we are going to have a SB contending team. I would rather go all in and have to do a small rebuild for a year or two than just be a play off team all the time.

I think back to the disappointment Charles Woodson displayed in the press after SEA signed Marshawn Lynch. We really could have used him back then. Might have won back to back SBs…. or more…

That's in the past, and now we have Eddie Lacy, along with Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and crew. That is an explosive offense. Load up that defense, and I like our chances next season.
