Just to add a tidbit New Orleans was ranked #4 so that was the final 4 in the NFC all ranked in the top 5


The AFC on the other hand is all about offense seeing out of the final 4 the highest ranked defense was Denver at #15.

Exactly DHazer. I was thinking how the Packers would almost certainly never win a game, let alone a playoff game, if Aaron Rodgers put up the kind of stats that Russel Wilson did in the Seahawks/Saints game. The fact of the matter is, teams like the 49'er's and Seahawks have many ways to win, and they don't always have to depend on their QB. The same can't be said for the Packers. The run game is changing that recently, but that's got to continue. Most importantly, the Packers HAVE to find a way to have a MUCH better defense. Otherwise, they will be lucky to ever make it past the division round of the playoffs anytime soon. Seattle and the 49'er's defenses are just too good . . . and their offenses aren't bad either.

The Packers defense doesn't have to be as good as the Seahawks for the Packers to win, but it has to be better than what it has been the past couple of seasons.
