LT: Derek Sherrod
LG: Josh Sitton
C: T.J. Lang
RG: David Bakhtiari
RT: Bryan Bulaga

I really don't see the fascination with Bakhtiari. He did NOT play well, and being undersized, he probably doesn't have a very high ceiling, potential-wise. And everybody seems to forget how bad Bulaga played even before his injury - was he somehow playing hurt and will come back like his old self? I hope so. Sherrod better make a giant step forward in the off-season. Otherwise, we are probably stuck with Bakhtiari - another season of perpetual pressure on Rodgers and no ability to run other than up the middle.

You should start a topic explaining how to properly rate players so the rest of us have a clue as to how you do it. Currently, I don't think you even watch the games and you just spitball your analysis.

I wonder how much film study Sherrod's done during his time off (for what it's worth)?

I would definitely like to see the line improve with both former 1st round picks finally healthy.
I would like to see the middle of the line stay intact meaning resigning EDS. From there, IF Bulaga is clearly the best option at LT then certainly put him there. If Bakhtiari makes that 2nd year jump you look for then by all means keep him there. If Sherrod shows up like they originally thought he could be GREAT!

I think it's safe to be optimistic with the three in the middle and with both young/improving and healthier/talented players I can see a hell of a competitive camp coming up.

Like I say, keep the middle intact, and let the war on the outside begin. Not a bad place to be IMO. I think it results in a better Oline with more depth then in the past which allows Ted Thompson to do what he needs elsewhere.

As I recall, Bulaga did not play a regular season down this season. Granted he did great in camp and what little he played in preseason, but he did NOT do all that great last season - a step downward with no injury that I can recall as a reason. I HOPE as much as anybody he comes back healthy and good, because it is very unlikely we get O-Line help in the draft. I'm just saying, it ain't a sure thing. I HOPE Sherrod plays like a first rounder too, because Bakhtiari sure wasn't all that impressive - and I wonder what you guys were watching if you think he was.

He only played better than the top overall pick and the other top 5 Olineman who were taken in that same draft.

With a full offseason to practice I think Bakthiari can gel the LT position and Bulaga can then play RT while Sherrod gets some kind of injury or battles with Newhouse to backup Barclay at backup tackle.
