Report: Lovie Smith expected to interview with Lions

According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Smith is expected to interview for the head coaching job for the Detroit Lions.

Could be just a "Rooney Rule" interview. Lovey would scare the shit out of me with that defense.

I don't care how much talent they have on defense, as long as Matthew Stafford is their quarterback, they are not a threat. And before one of the stat boys comes in here to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, subtract all the jump ball passes to Megatron from your statistics. Stafford = Flacco and neither guy can carry our QB's jock.

Former Cal head coach Jeff Tedford will be Lovie Smith’s offensive coordinator in Tampa Bay.

Should be interesting to watch. Guess I'll have to be pulling for this team. They've got some talent.

Offensive Coord is the biggest thing that has held Lovey back. Well, that and Bears ownership. LOL. Should be interesting to see what Aaron's old college coach can do on the NFL level.
