Nice to see it looking like he will have earned the money he was scheduled to get paid before the restructure, Would be nice to see more contracts done based on real incentives.

All incentive money must count under the cap if it is earned. Certain types will count even if they are not earned.
In Crosby's case, if he stays above the 85% the Packers will incur and additional $800,000.00 cap hit next season on top of his regular salary and any other signing bonus type hit.
I think the bonuses he got for being on the active roster for week 5 and week 10 counted against this years salary cap but if not hey will go against next years cap as well.
Even if the Packers cut him they will have to count that money against the cap because it was an earned bonus.
