All the talk last night and today seems to be about:

  • Flynn and his 5 second half td drives. Nearly 300 yards passing and a rating of 113.
  • Lacy and his 60 yard run. His 170 combined yards. The game winning td run.
  • Williams and Shields fourth quarter ints. They had a combined 14 tackles and 5 PD.
  • yeah yeah yeah, Boykin, Quarless and Nelson all had 5 or more receptions and more than 60 yards including a few key ones.
  • Lattimore's impassioned speech in the locker room that actually got the players to do what they should have been doing all along.

The real game MVP was Crosby's incredible 57 yard FG in the first quarter. without him they still lose. Well ok Flynn wouldn't have been kneeling at the Dallas 32 and running the clock out. They would have run 3 more plays for -2 yards and Crosby would have nailed that one for the win. There he is still the hero. This time with the game on the line. 🙏

No love for McCarthy? Or does he not count as a player?

Very true about Shields. Correct me if I am wrong but the second half seemed to feature more man to man. And I really miss those days for our D. Plus think of next year. A healthy Heyward, Shields, and Hyde is a backfield to be excited for. I really do love Tramon, even though he has been obviously declining this year he has played with a lot of heart and made some big plays. I'd love to have him at least one more year even if it is at a lesser role.

My MVP ranking is:

1) Jason Garrett
2) Tony Romo
3) Tramon Williams (That was a hell of a catch!)
4) Eddie Lacy
5) Jordy Nelson (turnover turned into TD)
6) Mason Crosby
7) Matt Flynn
8) Mike McCarthy

Nightmares from last year. I still cringe when we kick the long ones; worried that Crosby will shank it, sending his confidence down the toilet. I've regained my confidence with the manageable kicks mind you.
