If Newhouse is starting at any position I like our chances a lot less no matter who is QB.

McCarthy was asked about the weather and the Falcons come Sunday and he had a typical coach answer saying that is a "loser mentality" if you are looking at that as a team...

Well, I see it differently than McCarthy and the example was right in front of your face this past Monday night. A dome team playing outside in bad weather absolutely sucked ass.

Look at this...Atlanta has played in NINE domed games and in THREE outside games no further north than Carolina. Take that as you'd like, but you can't look past that advantage. What is Atlanta going to do? Turn their AC to 12 degrees in HOTlanta and practice? No.

Its an advantage and I hope it comes into play.

If Rodgers plays, this shouldn't be a game. Packers win by 14.

If Flynn plays, this game will be close. He is going to have to play great so that the Packers can open the run game up.

Steven Jackson will most likely run all over our defense since they can't even tackle an infant. I am so down about this defense, I have no faith in them playing even a decent game. Softest defense in the entire NFL.

Hopefully Pickett is just a cautionery move, but have to agree, without Pickett, Neal and Wilson, that means The d-line is going to be overused if The Packers offense cannot sustain drives.

Thing is, the Falcons might be said to be playing for a high draft pick. Then again, I might also say that about our defense.

I'm hoping for a win.
As cold as it's gonna be, the run game will play a HUGE part.
If we can get up on the Falcons and force them to pass, we could be OK.

At least we arn't playing a good team this week.

Several have pointed out, Atlanta is so far down the toilet that they don't have great incentive to win. Add to that (despite McCarthy's "loser mentality" comment, the fact that it's damn cold, and the Falcons are used to the south, and I'm thinking the Packers have a chance.

The most significant thing on that injury report IMO (other than Rodgers not playing, of course) is having Bostick back.

Vikings are a lesser team than Falcons, yet so many are confident the Packers are going to win?
