Are you people still claiming that Ted Thompson has NOT done a crappy job of building a team? I say AGAIN, Aaron Rodgers masked a helluva lot of badness - O Line, D Line, LBs .....

A lot of teams have the excuse of injuries; A lot of teams haven't had very high draft picks, but NOBODY has piece of shit on the field like Raji, Newhouse, and to only slightly lesser extent, about a dozen others.

Sure, the Lions played over their heads today, but other teams just don't have as pathetic personnel as the Packers have outside of Aaron Rodgers and 3 or 4 others.

Thank you Ted Thompson.

TT has only so much money he can spend with
the salary cap. Ted Thompson put together a Super Bowl winning team
a couple years ago.
There are teams that never even went to a S Bowl.

This is such naive and spoiled comment.

Ted hasn't been perfect. No GM has. But for the rules and pieces that have been put into place, he has done a hell of a job. How could Ted have predicted the injuries? The failure of a defensive coaching staff that had only 3 years earlier won a Super Bowl? Watch some changes happen next year, but Ted Thompson has been good if not great considering. I am not happy with this team, but this team shows promise EVERY year and will show promise NEXT year and the NEXT year.

What do you want though, a team that has old vets that will fill up your cap or all magic 6th round picks? This team will be back next year. Be glad, though, that injuries happened NOW.

I was just looking back at the 2010 season and I find it amazing that in the NFC 7 teams in the NFC that year and 6 make the playoffs. Yes we won the Super Bowl but did we have an awesome team I say no, we got on a run and thanks to a Jackson punt return we got into the dance.

I think people have worn to many green and gold glasses and dont want to admit we have gotten lucky lately but we haven't really been the best team in the league since Ted Thompson took over. Hell Sherman took us to the playoffs a few years in a row and we fired him.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Ted is not the best GM in the league, but I do believe he is top 5 and if we get rid of him, who takes his place that is better? I just see a division that has caught up. It is not just the Packers anymore.
