Tomorrow's game is not a life or death game for Green Bay.

Even if they lose... They will still win the NFC North.

So.. (Note To Game Day Chat) Calm down if the Lions take a 7-0 lead.

The Vikings will Beat Chicago.. That I know for sure.

Detroit will crumble even if they win tomorrow...

Eagles = loss
Ravens = Loss
Giants = Loss...

Loser bowl - Dec 29th. Lions 21 Vikings 24. Loss.

Rodgers is back after tomorrows game. Packers run the table.

Again people... Calm down. Everything is lining up, all of the cosmic tumblers are clicking into place.

Been using this to simulate the playoff scenario.

There are plenty of ways The Packers can still make the playoffs, lots of football to be played.

I see where 4 starters are returning this week, can only get better.

I do not see how the Packers can win tomorrow, especially the way they played the last 3 games and especially the way they played against one of the worst teams in the league and came away with a tie playing in Lambeau. Now they go up against a much better team on the road. We barely beat them at home when Johnson and Burleson did not play. With our shoddy secondary that are half a feet shorter than the Lions receivers, Stafford could have a field day. Tell me this, when was the last time McCarthy out coached an opposing HC? Yes I will root for the Pack big time, but I just don't see it. My prediction, 35-24 Lions

I believe it is more important for some on this forum to be right, rather than be wrong.

Why do some members have to be vilified if they actually think The Packers can turn this season around?

Every season is 17 weeks, 16 games, every team goes through ups and downs.

The most important word in your post is "game".

Strip away all the bull crap that has become The NFL, and it is still just a game.

I'm a student of the game and a fan of The Packers, anything can happen.

Win or lose, my opinion is the guys who are lucky enough to put on The Green and Gold, deserve to be supported. Everyone of them have worked their asses off their whole life to get a chance to play in The NFL.

Come January The Packers season will either be over or continue, I'm hoping they will continue, if it's over, that is when I will start looking forward to next year, and whatever changes the Packers organization sees fit to make.

If we play 4 DBs, Detroit will get a lot of one on one opportunities - which is where this team struggles quite often. If we play nickel, I think our run D may suffer - and I still see CJ being an issue for them. Unless there is some magical turnaround - this will be a tough win. If Stafford throws a few our way, the DBs NEED TO CATCH THE BALL!

Because Tolzien was able to move the ball pretty well on the Giants just not able to finish drives.

And he did very well against the Vikings for the most part.

The dose of realism is good to check against. Johnson will create problems. I am hopeful with Flynn starting that he can guide the long, sustainable drives that chew up clock and keep Stafford and Johnson on the sidelines, for as long as possible. We need a very, very big game from our defense today, especially Tramon Williams and Morgan Burnett, and even bigger games on O from Eddie Lacy and James Starks. Might as well throw Jordy and Quarless in there too. Hell, this one, we need best games out of all of our players, and our coaching staff.

If we win today, we will have stolen it. I want to see that happen.

While I appreciate the sentiment, that if we lose today we may still be OK, because I do believe both the Lions and Bears could lose at least two of their remaining games (where both teams post 9-7 records, or worse, and we take the division at 9-6-1). However, I hope we steal this W today. We need it. We should be trying to win out the remainder of the season, and that may be possible. Our defense and our coaches just need to get their shit together.

Looking realistically at all 3 teams schedules, we could possibly win the division with a 8-7-1 record… they all have some crazy tough games ahead, with not a single gimmie:

DET (6-5): GB, @PHI, BAL, NYG, @MIN
CHI (6-5): @MIN, DAL, @CLE, @PHI, GB

But, if we do limp into the playoffs, that won't be good. We need to start building some momentum, and put together some solid games through all 4 quarters. Rodgers coming back in a couple of weeks would certainly help, and so would a nice pick fest from our D.

People keep bringing up the Lions and Bears schedule but if you look at ours we are playing 4 teams in the playoff hunt and 1 team in Atlanta that just gave New Orleans a run for the money. The more the season goes on the tougher the schedule looks to me. The steelers I thought would be an easy win but they are starting to play good football and I fear the Cowboys offense against our defense. I honestly am thinking we finish 3-2, but if thats the case I wish we would just lose the rest for a better draft pick if we are not going to get into the dance.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I don't see anyway for GB to win the division. The whole team is in disarray with AR out. Offense, defense and ST have had real problems. Aaron has simply masked the problems that have been there all along.

This team is NOT going to win the Super Bowl, even with Rodgers. The defense is mostly pathetic, the offensive line is average, and special teams is horrible. It's likely that the Saints, Seahawks, 49'ers, Lions, and even the Cowboys are better teams, and would light up this defense. The Packers could really use a higher draft pick to infuse the team with some fresh elite talent.

I know it's not going to happen, but I would hate to see significant injuries to the few long-term stars that the Packers have for a futile season. The team just isn't good enough, especially with all the injuries.

If the defense could somehow turn things around even a little, this could all change, but I personally have lost all faith in this defense, and especially Dom Capers. It's just more of the same, for years running now.

Reality hit the Packers up side the head today.
I didn't really think they would win, but I
didn't think they would crap themselves.

Playoff dreams died today.
And it's just as well I think.
