5 losses, and each game could have been won by the Packers.

This is some very uninspired play and coaching we are seeing from most on the Packers football team. I'm shocked at the unnecessary penalties. 12 men on the field, illegal formations, personal fouls, etc. We've seen them all through these 5 losses. That is poor preparation.

Say Bears beat Rams and Lions beat Buccaneers and the Packers lose to the Lions.

Lions 7 - 4
Bears 7 - 4
Packers 5 - 6

Two games behind with five to go = season over??

What I saw from the team was a team that refuses to play through the whistle on offense and defense. Uninspired and no heart.

I am usually optimistic within reason but in this case I think not.

I can't see us winning games on the back of a leaky, patchy and inconsistent defense and a pedestrian offense that is pretty vanilla right now.

Sure, the Giants gave up some big plays but when it mattered, they neutered the offense. Without Rodgers at the helm, I can't see it. Lacy works well with a high powered passing game, without it, it's asking a little too much to carry the offense through.

Lions after thanksgiving have 3 games that they could possibly lose. @Philly home against Bal & Gmen.
Bears, I could see 1 maybe two more loses before week 17 (when they lose to us). @Philly and maybe home Dallas.

I think Rodgers needs to come back for Thanksgiving and win that for the team to have a chance of winning the division and making the playoffs.

ONE GAME BEHIND.

Remember..... it is only ONE GAME.

One game behind The Packers.

The Autumn Wind is a pirate,

Blustering in from sea,

With a rollocking song, he sweeps along,

Swaggering boisterously

At this point, yes. The teams in this division have shown that they are beatable teams. They are nothing special.

Lions just lost to an ugly Steelers team...literally, ugly. Those jerseys are a monstrosity. No one is running away with this division and if the Packers can muster up a win at Minnesota this week, follow up with a Rodgers return and win on Thanksgiving then the chances are still there.

I'm going to be a realist now though. This defense gives me zero hope of anything happening in the playoffs. The team will live and die with the offensive production brought to you by Mr. Rodgers.

The Vikings are not going to lay down for us, and we will make Ponder look competent. The Giants are not a good team, but looked it today.

We are struggling but I think we are still better than the vikings and we SHOULD beat them.

What is the saying, if you can't beat the teams you SHOULD beat you might as well go home. If we can't beat the vikings we might as well go home and that's just where we may end up come playoff time.

Granted, we've suffered an inordinate number of key injuries, but other teams have had to deal with those as well. I'm not sure why, after the last two or three years of high injury totals, and this past offseason supposedly being dedicated to eliminating those and having an emphasis on player availability, we still find ourselves in this same position. WTF???

Again, poor preparation.

The one player who showed up, displaying incredible professionalism in a hostile NY environment, Tramon Williams, gets little respect from many fans. I hope he keeps it up, and that others will follow his example. I guess I would add Jordy Nelson to Williams, as another player who really has shown up with the goods. That's pretty much it.

We are going to need to essentially win out, and we will need a lot of luck, professionalism, and focus to accomplish this. We are not that far away, because we should have been able to win all of the games we lost. Yet, somehow we are. This team is not looking prepared, focused, nor ready to take on the challenges ahead to win. Far too many players making major mistakes.

EVERYONE on this Packers team has got to turn this around if we are to win the division. Players and coaches alike.

They have guys beat up that don't even practice all week and then this? The "next man up" thing is fine and all but when it goes as deep as we have had to go it makes it very tough. This ended up being a matchup we didn't need in a game needed very badly and NY took advantage of what they had.
