Haha this is exactly what I'm talking about matthews is a wash he was on 10, perry hasn't shown much but is on the way up. Same with neal, datone jones< Jenkins 2010 by a mile, Heyward has been hurt all year and < tramon 2010 our top cb then. Burnett is good but nowhere near Collins. Rbs are much better this year and Davon House had looked more like a stud than a dud.

When Rodgers is healthy and this running game, the Packers have a chance to be one point better than any team in the NFL, and a realistic chance at that.

GB has zero chance without Aaron. He is the difference between 2010 ad this team.
The only chance they have is if Wallace doesn't screw up too much before Aaron comes back. I will make that 10%.

I've often said that if Aaron went down, it would force this team to adhere to fundamentals.

This team is known for not showing up for a full 60 and continuously going into lulls. They don't seem to show up until "adversity" hits and their backs are against the wall.

I've always said this was a case in point, of what I am talking about. Look what happened in '10. The Packers were on the verge of elimination, they had to win 5 games in a row just to qualify for the playoffs, then they had to win all the way through.

And they did it.

We've been at that point this season too, forced to ADHERE TO FUNDAMENTALS in order to play consistently and win games. Well, fundamentals are the key to winning.

It's put up or shut up time. They WON'T be stat whoring from here on out. Let's see what this team can do.

Anybody with me? I think we can be successful.

Now it seems you have come up with a new "nerdman favorite" Fundamentals, as if The Packers have been playing out of control, not adhering to basics that they have learned from day 1.

Come Sunday if plays don't go exactly as you think they should, you will once again be the 1st to throw players under the bus, and start whining how this should be done and that should be done.

Now you want everyone to "be with you" like you are the only one who has any confidence in The Packers as a team to grind through this latest setback?

You like over/unders...here's a few for you.

How many time will you claim a packer has failed"?

How many time will you claim a Packer has "shit shemsives"?

How many time will "bad fundamentals" be the reason a player was beaten or the other team makes a successful play?

Heres my favorite...How many times will you be absolutley wrong when you give your nerdman play by play instant analysis with only a tv view of the game?

Well, all I can say is I hope the team is more united and has more resolve than this group here. That's for sure.

If not they are certainly screwed.

I expect Wallace to be better Sunday. The Bears smelled blood knowing the backup has had few reps and they were getting after him. This week will probably be the same but Seneca will be more prepared.

The D needs to pick it up. This is where the fundamentals and assignment sure part really kicks in. That and they need Mathews and Perry out there. They have to get pressure. I saw where Perry and Mathews practiced on a limited basis yesterday.
I don't want to hear about the "medical staff" and their crap or McCarthy say "we're being smart". Playing with a bad heel is not career threatening. Pad it, give him a shot, and get out there. The club can protect Mathews.

We need these guys. I don't want to see a QB "almost" go down and then throw a miracle TD. We can't have a Matt Forte slip through the line and see them 20 yards from anybody because somebody got suckered out of position. The "A" team needs to be on the field.

Now.

I hate to say it, but for the first time since before the Favre Era, I will be EXPECTING the Packers to lose - I hope I'm wrong, but if McCarthy stubbornly sticks with that lemon, Wallace, it is just about assured that we will lose. The Eagles will play cautious enough that our D can't win it for us. Knowing Wallace is worthless, they will stack the box and shut down Lacy and Starks. Sorry, but barring a miracle return by Aaron Rodgers or McCarthy going to Tolzien, I just don't see the Packers having a chance.

ALL teams will try to slow the run game down. It's a lot harder to do when you can't defend the pass. With no prep time McCarthy wasn't about to go downfield with the ball but you can bet he will pull the trigger against this D if they are up in the box as you say.

Zero2Cool (12h) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (13h) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
