The Vikings have 1 NFL championship under their belt not 0. [boxing]

Technically speaking. We won the 1969 NFL championship, which was the year before the merger. We can't help it we were required to play that money making exhibition game called Superbowl 4 vs the AFL champion Chiefs the following week lol. And even though we did and lost, we still have the 1 NFL championship.

It's not the 11 championships you guys have, but then again we weren't around since 1920 when there were only 4 teams in the league haha. However choking away all of our opportunities hasn't helped matters, and being 0-4 in Superbowls is still a reality.

The fact is, we won the last Ed Thorp trophy (and apparently it went missing), so our trophy case is still just filled with lots of tears, false hope, some oh so close, and plenty of shoulda beens. They say we're cursed by the ghost of Ed Thorp so I wish someone would find that damn trophy and return it already.

to set the record straight- After the leagues started to play the "extra game" no one cared who one the lesser championships. All that counts toward the record is the final game. vikies still come up short.

And yes almost everyone one on this site that is over 35 knows minni soda was given the chance to represent the REAL league and failed.
