We've all seen McCarthy make a lot of dumb challenges. There is no exception to him not throwing this flag with how close of a call that was. He had two refs making two different signals...you throw the red flag.

With respect to the two refs making opposite signals I don't think the one who was signaling catch really saw the bobble like the other one did. I think he thought it was a clean catch all the way. I don't think he was saying yeah he bobbled it but then he got possession before he went out which is what we would have been looking for on the replay.

But yeah I agree, you throw the flag.

While I agree that McCarthy should have definitely challenged the play (I was mad when he didn't), I can understand why he didn't. I don't think he wanted to take a chance of losing a timeout, especially with Wallace playing QB. You never know when he would need a timeout, considering he isn't used to running this offense with the starters. I think that if Rodgers is playing, the play gets challenged by MM. Obviously, with Rodgers playing that certain play may not have happened, but I'm just making a point.

Looks like I am the only fan who would not have challenged it. I watched it again and just knew they would rule it a no catch because all the things you have to in the rule book now to "have possession".

While I agree that McCarthy should have definitely challenged the play (I was mad when he didn't), I can understand why he didn't.
