Probably some ESPN hack seizing his opportunity to get some attention. I'm sure his "sources" will soon confirm that Favre and GB are talking contract only for Favre to back out and stay retired at the last moment. Quality made up drama to get through the next couple weeks with.

btw, those of you who somehow don't know who Howard Balzer is, he has a Pro Football Hall of Fame vote. Howard Balzer is a long-time sportscaster who started his career at ESPN. He was one of the first anchors. He started in 1981. He worked for Pro Football Weekly, where he wrote articles about the NFL

If he was healthy, I'd prefer Randall Cobb take snaps as QB than Favre or Tebow.

Flynn was my first thought, too, but I agree, his arm is no good.

No Favre, no Flynn, no anybody. And no panic. Give Wallace a week to get his timing down with the #1 squad and McCarthy will come up with something good enough to get us into December.

M-a-y-b-e we could bring back BJ Coleman as our backup's backup, but that's all I would do.

We have to do something atleast bring Tolzein up to the 53 man roster or we don't have a backup on the roster.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
