Sherrod returns to Packers practice, WR Walker added to practice squad

WHOA??!?

Green Bay - It has been about a year since OT Derek Sherrod took part in a practice, but the 2011 first-round pick looked to be in outstanding shape as he took part in his first workout as a member of the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

I still hope Sherrod is able to come in and take over one of the tackle spots. I really like his size and build.

Hopefully Sherrod comes back strong, can visualize a U71(2?) formation down the road.

Sorry for the ignorance, but do we have to cut somebody if Sherrod comes back? Hoping he gets back and can push the other tackles to up their game. It was such an awful injury and seriously we deserve some type of good news injury story.

I wouldn't really mind seeing this, but I'm not sure that it'd be a good idea to change it up right now. This starting OLine seems to be in sync with each other, especially in the run game. It's really not THAT bad. Definitely would be good to have him for depth, and hopefully next year he can fight for a starting spot.
