Rookie WR Charles Johnson signs with Browns

Baltimore --- The Green Bay Packers never got a full look at rookie wide receiver Charles Johnson during the summer. A knee injury kept him sidelined until the final week. They were able to slip Johnson onto the practice squad, in hopes of developing him for the future.

I was excited about his prospects, but the fact is, he did NOT make the team.

Packers promoted Nixon and that other dude ahead of him. That says something to me.

Do we still have Dorsey?

Why the hell didn't Ted sign Johnson to the 53 man roster??

All he had to do to make room is cut that soft, worthless A.J. Hawk!!!!

Johnson isn't ready yet. He'll probably get cut from the Browns at some point, and he'll be available.

Btw, we play Cleveland coming up, don't we? They want him as a spy.

Probably just an information move, which has now turned into a costly mistake for them.

Wonder if The packers knew about this?

Or did he hurt himself after he went to Cleveland?
