Packers bigger, meaner and better fit for title run

The evidence, based on observation and metrics, has shown the Green Bay Packers to be a bigger and more physical football team in the first four games than a year ago.

Nothing from the first quarter of the season supports the view more that the Packers will win at least 12 games in the regular season and be among the top two or three contenders to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

It's the law of the land in the National Football League these days, and it's a game Mike McCarthy's Packers will be able to play with the best of them as long as Aaron Rodgers remains a great quarterback.

Probably all true ...... but the better reason why the Packers are a strong bet to go 12 - 4 or better - I would guess 14 - 2 - is that so many teams around the league are turning to shit/melting away/whatever - and most of those seem to be on our remaining schedule.
