Heard he might need surgery.

The way this team reports injuries the whole arm is probably amputated.

Well it would be harder for him to strip Adrian Peterson so he can run it back for a touchdown. [grin1]

Did anybody see him after on the sidelines - how bad off he looked? Anybody know if it's his right or left hand - and which-handed he is? It makes a difference performance-wise. I would think anything short of a really mangled compound fracture, and he could postpone any surgery until after the season and play with some kind of a soft cast. I don't think they allow those "clubs" like in the good old days.

But maybe this injury could have been avoided if Matthews stretched a little bit more before the game...

Morgan Burnett had a club last year, did he not?

The real problem is, with a broken thumb, will Clay still be able to inject himself?

One month as per Schefter.

That's not too bad, hope it's true.

Packers LB Clay Matthews still is undergoing more testing, but he is expected to miss one month with a broken thumb

Might need surgery or something.

We got by for 4 games last year without Clay, and at that time our backups were Walden and Moses. If we could do that last year, we can get by this year with Neal and Perry.

None of the next 4 teams are real offensive powerhouses either. Season ain't over.

Last year I think we went 3-1.
