These rankings are out of whack and won't be updated until Tuesday.

    The Lions beat the Vikings ( 0 - 3 ) and the Redskins ( 0 - 3 ) and lost to the Cardinals ( 1 - 2).

Aaron Rodgers has a propensity to dominate the game after a poor outing. Perhaps I'm overlooking the Lions here when I say that the Packers and Rodgers are going to beat the Lions by double digits October 6th. I think the Packers will be aiming to make a statement and they will also have two key players in their defense return (my prediction) in Casey Hayward and Morgan Burnett. Packers should also have James Starks, Eddie Lacy along with Johnathan Franklin at RB.

When I've watched Bears/Lions mathcups, it has been a closely contested game and I could see the Lions edging the Bears and improving to 3 - 1. I think this works in the Packers favor as they will get maybe a little more 'amped' for the game to make up lost ground.

Not to look past this Lions game (players never should do that, but I guess we fans have that luxury), but next is a tough road game with the Ravens. Then, we have a long string of very winnable games basically all the way to December 8 against the Falcons - and at home, even that one shouldn't be too difficult. I'd really like for the Packers to play like the Packers - which really is all it takes to beat ANYBODY - when they go to Baltimore.

I see this season as shaping up to be kinda a parity year - not very many outstanding teams - maybe not extending beyond San Francisco, Seattle, and Green Bay. Unless somebody else emerges - the Cowboys for example, this "tough" appearing schedule really ain't that bad.

It's a little early to talk about winning out, especially with the weaknesses the Packers have shown in some areas, but looking at the schedule, I just have to ask, who's gonna stop us?

I'm pretty excited about this running game. I think it has the potential to take over.

    Lions 0

McCarthy, dealing with wife unit's PMS, enters game extremely cranky, and stays that way, not doing the usual foot-off-the-gas after Packers go up big early. Capers forgets to put prevent defense on his playcalling card, never uses it, instead attacking Stafford for four full quarters.

Rodgers: 27-29, 5 TDs (Jones, Jones, Jones, some tight end, Jones), 400+ yards
Defense 4 INTs, one for a pick 6.
Suh, misunderstood, ejected in first quarter.

This game (and season so far) reminds me of the 15-1 season. Our defense has shown no ability to stop anyone, and if our offense doesn't play lights out, we lose.
And our O was less then stellar last game.

If CM3 isn't healthy and playing, we are in big trouble.
As if we don't get Burnett and Hayward back, we won't stop anyone.
Bush is an amazing player, and watching him last week scared the heck out of me. I can see him putting up BIG numbers.

    packerfanoutwest (19-Nov) : Jets are a mess......
Zero2Cool (19-Nov) : Pretty sure Jets fired their scouting staff and just pluck former Packers.
Zero2Cool (19-Nov) : Jets sign Anders Carlson to their 53.

buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : Jaire and Evans Williams are both ACTIVE! Good news.
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : The badgers really need to change the whole offensive scheme. No draws no screens plus the quarterback is marginal
Cheesey (17-Nov) : If the Badgers had a decent QB, they would have won. The guy can't hit a wide open receiver
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : chop block
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : there was a very questionable job Block call that upon viewing replay was very borderline
